Part of my series inspired by Syd Masters song, "Under New Mexico Skies", the state song of New Mexico. I was granted permission by Syd to name a series of paintings on the lyrics in his song! I think his words are so beautiful and descriptive, I can see the images when I hear the song! This scene is from experiencing the twinkling stars and clarity of the heavens on a spectacular night. "Leaning against adobe walls of old" and watching three glowing stars twinkling above the adobes.
