Another of the sketches from my trip last fall to Arizona. I am intrigued by the dry river beds, and the paths they carve through the sandy land, wrapping around the trees and saguaros undulating their way along. I see so much movement and life in the desert, I can feel it pulsing with energy. I love the clear air and how it makes even the neutral colors look so vibrant and strong.
