The same view of La Jolla and La Jolla Shores as in Succulent Pelican, this time as seen from a pretty window with a trio of geraniums. I am always inspired by Matisse and his use of pattern, color and the juxtaposition of atmospheric space and decorative space. In homage to the master, I have a decorative motif of kelp beds with Garibaldi's swimming through as the wall paper, and the motif of a view through a window was done many times from his studio in the South of France.
