Another in the Matisse window series, which are based on colors, shapes and ideas I have observed in Matisse paintings. This one actually combines motifs from three of my favorite inspirations: Van Gogh (the iris's), Monet (the willow and pond) and Matisse the patterned curtain and flower pots, and organic patterned shapes. I like to play with the ideas of space, using a patterned space that is flat, and an atmospheric space that has depth.
